Welcome to the Flames of War, New England player's group

The Flames of War, New England group has been formed to energize and organize the FoW community in the northeastern United States. Our primary goal is to support FoW-related players, events and groups throughout the region. We are a loose-knit and welcoming group of players, with a common interest. There are no formal requirements or fees for membership, other than a desire to play some games.

The site your are viewing is a wiki to complement the FoW New England Yahoo group. Once signed up, you are free to add content here to support your gaming efforts. We ask only that you keep any content non-commercial in nature, and at least somewhat related to the topic of playing the game of Flames of War.  

About the Flames of War, New England Yahoo group

Most of our group activity occurs on the FoW New England Yahoo group (fownewengland) mailing list. Along with discussion with our active group of 100+ members, you'll find:

• The group mailing list: Messages between group members to coordinate activities in the region
• Our calendar of upcoming events: Lists upcoming events in the region. Feel free to add game events, tourneys and conventions of interest.
• Links: Links to gaming venues and groups in the region. Hopefully, you'll find a location near you. Please add your own favorites!
• Member-driven content: Everyone is encouraged to add content. Group ownership and moderation will be distributed to a large core group. We want to avoid this becoming yet another abandoned group with no active management.

Membership

Membership to this group is wide-open. Once you've joined the Yahoo group, you will need to create a separate account to add content to the wiki. Anybody is welcome to join, or just look around and see what we have to offer. .
